For those who love the simplicity of camping beneath the trees, our twelve shared ablution campsites offer a relaxed and affordable way to enjoy the outdoors, with communal ablution facilities and a shared kitchen and washing-up area.

Chalet Conveniences
Each chalet sleeps between 2 and 6 guests and has a private bathroom, self-catering kitchen and a covered patio with outdoor furniture and a braai. Linen, bath towels and complimentary toiletries are provided, and housekeeping is included except on Sundays and public holidays.
Camping Conveniences
Spacious stands with electricity and fresh-water points. Private ablution campsites have their own lockable bathroom and kitchen area; shared ablution campsites have communal bathroom and washing-up facilities.
Swimming Pool Complex
A sparkling, chlorinated pool with exciting water slides, plus a separate baby pool with its own kiddies’ water slide.
Children's Play Area
A jumping pillow, jungle gym and adventure swings where younger guests can play and make new holiday friends.
Games Room
An extra space for indoor recreation, friendly competition and quality time together.
Communal Boma
Gather around the fire, enjoy a traditional South African braai and take in the star-filled African sky.
Function & Conference Venue
A versatile hall for weddings, birthdays, reunions, conferences and meetings, for up to 80 guests, with projection and sound equipment. Catering available by arrangement.
Convenience Store & Gift Shop
Holiday essentials, firewood, charcoal, ice, drinks, snacks, toys, games and selected gifts – without leaving the resort.
Pet-Friendly Camping
Small dogs (no more than 10 kg fully grown) are welcome on campsites only, with prior management approval and subject to the pet policy in our Terms & Conditions.
Good to Know
Location
Approximately 65 km from Pretoria, alongside the Elands River and bordering the Dinokeng Big-5 Game Reserve. Uitvlugt Resort is on its own farm, so you are free to explore on foot or by bicycle.
Road Condition
The 4.2 km dirt road to the resort is graded at least once a month and dragged weekly. It is accessible to all types of vehicles and caravans.
Safety & Security
The property is enclosed by a 2.75 m electrified game fence with a keypad-operated sliding gate, and motion-sensing cameras monitor the access road and key areas.
Entrance Gates
Both the Uitvlugt Resort gate and the Dinokeng Game Reserve gates are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi coverage throughout the resort, so you can stay connected while enjoying the bushveld.
