The Bee-eater (Merops species) is one of Africa’s most vividly coloured birds, known for catching insects mid-flight with breathtaking agility. Often seen darting between perches in a flash of turquoise and chestnut, these birds bring energy and colour wherever they go – a fitting namesake for this bright, welcoming chalet.
